Easter as a Missionary.

So, since being a missionary, holidays that revolve around Christ mean so much more. Recently God has been trying to help me understand the Atonement so much more. And what a perfect season to do it! So Last week I sent a link to that website on Mormon.org that had the "Because of Him" video. I think those of you who didn't watch it should watch it again. Because it is AMAZING!

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He LIVES and loves us and #BecauseofHim we can live with God again!

This week I was on exchanges in the singles ward. We taught the Plan of Salvation to one of their investigators and it was one of the coolest Plan of Salvation lessons I have taught on my mission. As we were teaching about the Atonement and how we get to love with God again, this kid's eyes just lit up! He was grinning from ear to ear and me and Sister Lindsey were EXCITED! We were stoked and so was he! We said, "You get to have this!!! This is something that you can look forward to! and all you have do is these 5 simple steps!" It was super cool to see this 19 year old kid see the happiness that can come with living with God again!!!

MAN! I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY!!!!

Something I have learned this week:

In order for us to experience great joy, we must first pass through deep sorrow. Because there must needs be opposition in all things. (2 Nephi 2:11)

Charity suffereth long... to have Charity, we have to suffer... It's a weird thing I am learning these days. But it makes a lot of sense.

I love you all so much! Have an amazing week and I will talk to you all next week! :D Peace and Blessings!

Temple Tuesday Yet Again! :)

Well, Sorry I didn't warn some of you last week that it was temple transfer week! But Here I am now... You can all rest easy. I'm not dead. (Delci, Heidi, Madison)

Well This wee was pretty good. We had a miracle this week. I was on exchanges with Sister Turner and we were in my area. We had a really good day planned and I had made the decision that I was going to talk to everyone. I have really been struggling with that lately. So we talked to everyone and because we did we met this guy who was genuinely interested in what we had to say. We had a lesson with him on the street and taught him the restoration. It was so cool! Then we set up a return appointment with him.

I also gained a testimony of the "Adjusting to missionary life" booklet thing. This past week I was struggling. So I decided to open my adjusting to missionary life booklet and look at the talking to strangers part. One of the things it says is to think about what is the worst that can happen. So I did and I came to the conclusion that the worst that can happen is that someone is mean to me... Well... God decided to apply that principle into my life. That same night we contacted a referral we had received through the system and he was NOT INTERESTED to say the least. but after about 10 minutes of verbal abuse... I was still alive and God confirmed to me that I was ok and that there wasn't much worse that was ever going to happen then that... so stop being scared to talk to everyone! :) God works in mysterious ways but he is SOOO good!

So the temple this morning was amazing! I felt the peace that I have been begging for and it just really spiritually rejuvenated me. I love the temple so much!

Well I don't know what else to say. HAve a good week and I will talk to you all soon!

Mosiah 24:13-15 READ IT. LOVE IT. EMBRACE IT.

Love you!

General Conferene (A missionaries Superbowl)!

So... as I thought about the title of this post... I realized that for me it's more like Christmas... but Superbowl is good too I guess.

Today I just wanted to talk a little bit about how much God loves me.

He loves me a lot. Let me tell you why he loves me. ok?

The people in my life. God loves me because He has put some of the most INCREDIBLE people in my life. Specifically in my mission life.

Let's talk about some of them.

-Sister Brown (Delci)
-Sister Luft (Allegra)
-Sister Perry
-Elder George (Logan)
-President Tew
-Sister Tew
-Sherry Noice
-Monique, Mariah, and Mia Obando
-Elder Komarek
-Elder Dixon (Jon)
-Julie Carr
-Robin Rosenlof
-Mar Bellamy
-The Goodmans

So many more that I can't even list because I will run out of room.

God also loves me because He answers my prayers. Through apostles of the Lord.

And because He calls me to repentance when it is needed.

The tender mercies in life show that God loves me.

Like When I get to share a Zone Conference with my best friend in the mission, and a few other missionaries that I love.

GOD IS SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!

Thank God for the little things. Ask him in your prayers to recognize the tender mercies that show how much God loves you!

I love this gospel so much! I can't even tell you how much! It has literally changed my life.

I love God. I love you. I love the Book of Mormon.

Until Next time.

Love you favorite missionary girl,
